Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach dermatology courses to medical students residents and fellows
• Mentor and supervise the research activities of students and junior faculty
• Participate in clinical activities including patient care and consultations
• Lead and conduct research projects in dermatology
• Contribute to academic and administrative activities within the department
• Publish scholarly articles book chapters and other academic materials
• Participate in professional development and continuing education activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and researchers

• Stay updated with the latest developments in dermatology

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Boardcertified in dermatology
• Significant experience in clinical dermatology practice
• Proven track record of research and scholarly activities in dermatology
• Experience in teaching and supervising medical students and residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative diverse and multidisciplinary environment
• Possess a state medical license and DEA registration
• Experience in grant writing and obtaining research funding
• Commitment to patient care education and research
• Understanding of ethical and professional standards in dermatology
• Publication record in reputable dermatology journals
• Familiarity with dermatology software and electronic medical records
• Active participation in professional societies and organizations
• Ability to balance clinical teaching and research responsibilities effectively
