Senior Manager - Sea And Air Freight Operations

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Manager with expertise in sea and air freight operations to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sea and air freight operations including imports exports and crosstrade business while also focusing on enhancing customer service and driving marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
• 58 years of experience in a freight or logistics company with a strong focus on sea and air freight operations.
• Comprehensive understanding of all processes related to sea and air imports exports and crosstrade business.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
• Solid knowledge of customer service principles and experience in managing customer relationships.
• Marketing background is preferred with the ability to contribute to marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve targets and deliver results.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in freight operations and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of sea and air freight operations including imports exports and crosstrade business.
• Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures optimizing efficiency and productivity.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Utilize indepth knowledge of sea and air freight processes to streamline operations and drive results.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Lead efforts to enhance customer service levels ensuring prompt and efficient handling of inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Represent the company in client meetings and presentations demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the sea and air freight operations team fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Set clear goals and objectives for team members monitoring performance and providing feedback as needed.
