Sr STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Detailed structural design of public infrastructurerelated buildings/structures.
• Produce design drawings and calculations reports.
• Supervise other engineers and CAD team as per project task assigned.
• Act as a checker within the team to ensure the quality of the deliverables prior to formal client submissions.
• Communicate with other technical disciplines to produce wellcoordinated design to ensure satisfaction of functionality and serviceability requirements and clashfree configurations.
• Track the progress of the assigned design and report to the Lead Engineer of the status and any issues that may arise during the design development.
• Be selfmotivated and require minor supervision on committed tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering and 8 years of related work experience. Work experience must be related to HANDSON DESIGN of structures.
• Intimate knowledge of the following software:
• SAP2000
• Structural Bridge Design (Auto Desk)
• AutoCAD
• Bentley RAM connections/elements
• Intimate knowledge of following design codes
• Ashghal IAN048 and other structural design related Interim Advice Notes
• Eurocode

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates MUST be immediately available and currently based in Qatar
• Masters Degree in Structural Engineering is highly preferred.
• Possession of internationally recognized engineering licenses such as PE SE and CEng is preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit software.
