Backend Developer - Python

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing serverside logic using Python and other backend technologies
• Creating and maintaining databases and APIs to support frontend applications
• Collaborating with the frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic
• Implementing data security and protection measures
• Designing and implementing data storage solutions
• Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
• Troubleshooting and debugging applications to optimize their performance
• Participating in code and design reviews
• Documenting the code for future use and maintainability
• Interfacing with client teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer using Python and related frameworks
• Strong understanding of serverside technology such as Node.js or Django
• Proficiency in database management including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with web server technologies and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly
• Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Detailoriented with a focus on delivering highquality welltested code
• Understanding of security and data protection best practices
• Experience in API integration and development
