Manufacturing and Packaging Operator

Position Summary:

This is an entrylevel position responsible for performing basic manufacturing and/or packaging equipment operations. The individual will work under the direct guidance of an upperlevel operator to learn all aspects of the position including documentation setup operation and cleanup. The role serves as a training ground to prepare for assuming the responsibilities of a fully functional operator.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work alongside trained operators at assigned work centers to learn all job aspects including batch record documentation equipment setup operation and cleanup.
• Assist in material handling for equipment operations including setup and breakdown.
• Perform sanitation duties as instructed by trained operators such as cleaning containers parts and proper disposal of pharmaceutical or hazardous waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Experience:
• 02 years of relevant experience
• Skills:
• Ability to perform repetitive work and meet standards.
• Ability to read comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Demonstrates appropriate personal hygiene.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good basic communication and interpersonal skills.

Other Requirements:

• Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Various physical activities including carrying climbing fingering handling kneeling lifting pulling pushing reaching repetitive motions standing talking and walking.
• Protective Clothing:
• Ability to wear personal protective clothing/equipment and hearing protection as required.
• Vision Requirements:
• The ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.
• Working Conditions:
• Manufacturing/Processing areas and/or Packaging Lines.
