Summary Role: The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Business Development team and driving the overall business development strategy of the Zains B2B division. The Business Development Manager is responsible for setting targets developing new business opportunities managing partner relationships and fostering a highperformance sales culture.

  • Develop and implement the overall business development strategy in alignment with the companys goals and objectives
  • Set sales targets and objectives develop sales plans and monitor the progress of the team towards achieving goals
  • Lead manage and mentor a team of Business Development Specialists providing guidance support and performance feedback
  • Manage and enhance relationships with strategic partners including regular engagement feedback sharing and collaboration on joint business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership expansion and explore new partnerships to expand the companys customer base and market reach
  • Drive the generation of new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential clients and decisionmakers.
  • Oversee the development of proposals presentations and pitch materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Provide regular reports to Enterprise Sales Director on sales activities pipeline status conversion rates and revenue projections
  • Monitor and evaluate the latest industry trends customer drivers and competitive landscape
  • Attend industry events conferences and networking opportunities to expand professional knowledge and networks
  • Perform all the abovementioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately
  • Be aware of and adhere to all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait or by the published policies of Zain Group/Kuwait
  • Zain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminates hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies) take advantage of OH&S opportunities and address OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities
