Security Operations Manager - Qatar Airways

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Group Security. As the Security Operations Manager you will be involved in providing security support across Qatar Airways (QR) Network. The first point of contact for all day to day security related occurrences and coordinate all daytoday security operational aspects in relation to the scheduled QR operations Network wide. The following are the key job responsibilities in this role as Security Manager Network :

• Provide security guidance and support to Senior Manager Integrated Operations Center (IOC) ASMs and QR Subsidiaries Management to ensure a safe and secure operations.
• Manage and oversee all security aspects of operations of QR passenger and freighter flights to ensure schedule integrity for the airline.
• Escalate security incidents as appropriate to the Security Management team.
• Provide a 24x7 link for operational support advice and guidance to outstations on airline security matters and when required at Hub.
• Representative of Group Security at the IOC in all security related issues and offer advice security guidance and support where applicable.
• Constantly assess threat and risk and provide security guidance and support QR outstations on Enhanced Security Measures (ESM).
• Follow up on the Implementation of ESMs and appropriate counter security measures.
• Ensures that security advisories received from Threat and Risk team are properly disseminated to concerned parties on a need to know basis.
• Ensure that the concerned stations / offices / departments have taken appropriate corrective actions to mitigate any security related incident that has occurred.
• Conduct investigations on all security affairs related to Network operations.
