Job Description:

• This position is for an Airframe Structure Design Engineer for an Advanced Development Programs (ADP) effort in Marietta GA.
• A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems.
• This position will require a successful applicant to develop airframe design solutions under general direction and independently.
• They will coordinate efforts across a wide range of functional organizations such as Quality Assurance Planning Tooling Structural Analysis Materials & Processes Flight Sciences Production Operations Flight Test and various other engineering disciplines.
• Designs develops and tests a variety of aircraft missiles and parts taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight.
• Establishes structural specifications performs stress analysis and conducts performance tests.

Skills:
Experience with 3D Experience or CATIA V5
Experience with Model Based Definition
Experience with FullSized Determinant Assembly
Experience with primary and secondary structure design in aircraft
Experience with subsystem installation design
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with structural analysis for preliminary sizing
