Role Specification: Pharmacist Position

As an integral member of our pharmacy team your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional patient care and advice ensuring high standards of clinical service.
• Dispensing medications accurately overseeing the safe supply of medicines.
• Offering professional services such as Medicines Use Reviews (MURs) and New Medicine Services (NMS).
• Managing and training pharmacy support staff and overseeing the daytoday running of the pharmacy.
• Maintaining meticulous records in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and keeping up to date with pharmacological knowledge.
• Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate for the Pharmacist position will possess:

• A degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or BPharm) and GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• Excellent clinical and professional standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of building trust with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to work flexibly including weekends and evenings when required.
• Experience in pharmacy management and delivery of pharmacy services is highly desirable.
