Passionate KS1 Teacher needed Westminster April 2024

Our client school is looking for a KS1 teacher based in the heart of Westminster! This is an opportunity to work within an amazing primary school in West London. KS1 Teacher responsibilities:

Plan prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to KS1 students using creativity and innovation to keep the students engaged.

Assess and evaluate student progress providing formal and informal feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan prepare and participate in school events including extracurricular activities.

Establish and maintain open and positive communication with students parents and colleagues.

Utilise a studentcentered approach to teaching encouraging independent thinking and problemsolving.

Incorporate inclusive practices into teaching approaches recognising the diverse needs of students.

Ensure accurate recordkeeping including attendance records and student data in line with the schools policies.

KS1 Teacher requirements:

QTS PGCE and strong academic record

Experience teaching key stage 1 students.

Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Highly organised and able to manage competing demands effectively.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Passionate about teaching and creating a positive learning environment.

Salary

The salary for this KS1 position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS.
