Job description

Data Surveyors travel to commercial properties across the country to inspect and enter data for commercial real estate owners.

Field Data Specialist REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to travel overnight Monday through Friday (home most weekends).

Have reliable vehicle to carry a 6foot extension ladder and handle longdistance drives.

Work outdoors in all types of weather for long periods.

Comfortable using ladders to access roofs of commercial buildings (up to 25feet).

Must be proficient with technology such as iPads laptops and cell phone applications.

Able to lift at least 50 pounds independently.

Site survey data entry property inspection and travel requires working outdoors on commercial properties in all weather including sometimes dealing with animals bugs or other elements found near shopping malls warehouses and commercial buildings.

Field Data Specialist ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Attention to detail and accuracy: Following clientspecific instructions find survey and enter data without errors to ensure quality and credibility of site survey property inspection plans.

Technical proficiency: Daily use of iPads cellphone apps laptop computers laser measuring tools 3D cameras aerial maps and software for data entry surveyor mapping and reporting.

Organizational and time management skills: Meet travel and project deadlines prioritize tasks and follow instructions without oversight to meet goals.

Physical agility: Travel to sites climb ladders work outdoors in all weather conditions and use hand tools cameras and tablet computers to enter property inspection survey data.

Problemsolving and adaptability: Find solutions to unexpected issues while traveling and performing data entry adapt to changing commercial property inspection circumstances.

Professional communication skills: Superb writing and speaking skills including excellent spelling grammar and diction are paramount to succeeding in this role.

Field Data Specialist DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Experience in property inspecting surveying and data entry: Prior experience in similar roles is advantageous but not required. Data entry and experience with travel work is highly desired.

Strong work ethic and selfdirection: Independent work without direct oversight effectively handling ambiguity and making sound decisions as well as being selfmotivated.

Teamwork and collaboration: Experience working effectively with colleagues and clients communicating promptly and professionally and collaborating to resolve issues.

Resilience and ability to handle pressure: Resilience and composure while working outdoors to inspect and survey properties and perform data entry under tight project deadlines.
