As a Remote Content Strategist for Travel youll be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that resonate with our target audience drive engagement and ultimately contribute to the growth of our brand. Your primary focus will be on creating captivating written and visual content across various digital platforms including our website blog social media channels and email newsletters. Youll work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with broader marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Development: Conceptualize research and create highquality written and visual content including articles blog posts destination guides videos infographics and more tailored to the interests and preferences of our audience.

  2. Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports brand awareness drives traffic and fosters engagement across all relevant channels.

  3. Audience Engagement: Foster meaningful connections with our audience through interactive storytelling community engagement and usergenerated content initiatives.

  4. SEO Optimization: Implement best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) to improve content visibility and organic reach leveraging keyword research and onpage optimization techniques.

  5. Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with key marketing initiatives seasonal trends and industry events.

  6. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze content performance metrics including traffic engagement and conversion rates to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement.

  7. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including marketing design and product teams to ensure content initiatives are aligned with broader business objectives and brand guidelines.

  8. Industry Research: Stay informed about industry trends emerging technologies and competitor strategies to inform content decisions and maintain a competitive edge.



Requirements

  • Proven experience (X years) in content creation preferably within the travel or hospitality industry but not required. We will train you.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar style and tone.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) social media platforms and digital analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and achieve business objectives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and thrive in a fastpaced remote work environment.
  • Passion for travel and a deep understanding of traveler preferences motivations and behavior.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing trends.
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams effectively and external partners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and pivot strategies as needed in a dynamic industry landscape.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
