Space and Defense Group is looking for a Site Finance Manager to lead the finance function for the Avionics business unit which is in Chatsworth California. produces space mechanisms and motors.

Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis cost accounting management and partnering with the leadership team to shape the profitable growth of the business. Financial reporting responsibilities include the preparation and communication of longrange financial projections annual budgets and monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis. The incumbent will also work closely with BU management team to create interpret and make decisions about the financial health of the business. Reporting directly to this position will be a financial analyst.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accounting and/or Finance
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance including excellent analytical critical thinking and data driven creative problemsolving skills
• Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing Operations Cost Accounting

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with the leadership team and provide valueadded support that is focused on enabling business performance.
• Understand the strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation execution and ongoing development and financial support of that strategy.
• Prepare and maintain company budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts including P&Ls Balance Sheet Cash Flows Bookings and a variety of KPIs.
• Present monthly financial results variance explanations and analysis to site and group leadership and track financial metrics compared to established goals.
• Ensure compliance with established companywide finance and accounting policies and procedures including the Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) compliance for OverTime Accounting (long term accounting).
• Other adhoc financial reporting requests.
