Your responsibilities:
- Identifying the excitation white spot and drives the development of new market opportunities in any available market.
- Increasing the market penetration in Generator/ Motor excitation system on 3rdparty installations.
- Coordinate with customers on Lifecyle management of existing ABB Installed base.
- Defines key marketing and sales targets (e.g. volume prices portfolio mix) and establishes appropriate metrics and
measurement tools to monitor performance. - Achieving assigned order intake margin and related objectives for the assigned product portfolio globally.
- Drives evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensures proactive sales approach with a
focus on solutions. - Oversees market competitive analysis and market segment definition activities.
- Ensures the market is well monitored by developing maintaining and effective usage of efficient marketing and sales
tools. - Develop opportunity pipelines with periodic report in SFDC with proper EAD & Sales probability.
- Conducting perioding cadence call with your sales team.
- Prepare and submit offers to customers in coordination with local/OPC bids and proposal team by adopting SAABB LDM
process. - Responsible for planning and implementing customer surveys analyzing and acting on the results in order to ensure high
levels of customer satisfaction. - Driving day to day service safety and integrity and implements Group initiatives to embed a culture of health and safety
and integrity across the organization.
Your background:
- Bachelors degree preferably in electrical power electronics or equivalent experience.
- Excellent knowledge of excitation products/system/service offering is a must.
- Requires 10 years of experience in excitation sales of solution & service in power generation utilities and Petrochemical
or Oil & Gas. - Ability to identify customer product/system/service needs and to match those against ABB product/system/service offerings.
- Good knowledge in contract (terms & conditions) / project and risk management
- Ability to accurately estimate costs of product/system/service offerings.
- Has sales drive: focus energy to achieve and close profitable deals.
- Ability to push himself/herself to develop personally
in line with the changes in the organization. - Should be fluent in English comprehension and writing. Arabic language skill shall be an added advantage but not a
requirement. - Willing to travel across the regional countries.
