Team Member - Purchase MRO

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for MRO procurement

Job Description:
Responsible for planning and procuring of MRO Purchasing finalizing annual contracts for operations/ maintenance assuring the timely availability of materials for the production plan and monitoring stock levels to place orders as needed
Responsible for A Frames EN9 Rods Caustic lye & HCL Procurement
Responsible for involvement in procuring various nonstandard items as per the user requirements on defined specification/ standards.
Purchase Planning ordering Schedule deliveries and ensuring timely fulfilment of all MRO Consumables and PPE Items.
Cost reduction & savings: Conducting negotiation with the vendors to obtain the optimum price
E/Digital tools usage (RFQ E Auction)
Responsible for Vendor Evaluation Vendor Financing Eco Vadis /SMETA audits for high spend vendors.
Compiling & analysing of pending PRs
Responsible for open Advance GST compliance tracking.
Responsible for preparing Monthly MRO report for Chennai
Ensuring the payment cycle of vendors and addressing payment /other grievances.
Responsible for maintaining relationship with existing vendors and developing new vendors for cost control.
Coordinate with line team members to monitor inventory and understand the upcoming requirements.
Responsible for Aggregator finalization for MRO
Adherence to SG Purchase guidelines and SG COC.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification: BE (Mechanical) Graduate/ Btech
5 years in Purchase function
Working experience in any manufacturing industry
