IT System Engineer

The responsibilities of the System Engineer encompass implementing configuring and supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions utilized by the company. This includes deploying managing tracking and auditing devices and access privileges. Additionally the System Engineer is tasked with monitoring troubleshooting and administering the MDM and IAM solutions for both the business unit and clients.

This role entails managing maintaining and optimizing the MDM and IAM solutions as well as recommending improvements to system configurations and procedures to enhance security while aligning with client requirements. Moreover the System Engineer may be required to perform IT Helpdesk or EndUser computing tasks as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the fleet of MDMconnected devices and users.
• Administer the MDM and IAM solutions.
• Serve as a systems and support engineer for device tool management and security technology issues in the customers IT environment.
• Diagnose and resolve problems promptly.
• Maintain the implementation and configuration of MDM and IAM systems collaborating with other vendors supporting the solution.
• Implement user and device policies and manage patching via the MDM tool.
• Address requests from internal and authorized external business units or vendors promptly.
• Prioritize and execute tasks in timesensitive scenarios.
• Conduct research and resolve enduser community tickets related to the MDM tool.
• Consult and document MDM and IAM environments for new and existing customers.
• Collaborate closely with service providers and product teams to stay updated on service changes and ensure timely incident resolution.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with MDM and IAM tools.
• Proficiency in MDM platforms such as JumpCloud VMware Soti MobiControl or Intune.
• Knowledgeable in managing macOS Windows Linux iOS and Android devices.
• Handson experience configuring MDM resources and objects.
• Background in managing and migrating Cloud Directories like Google Workspace M365 or Okta.
• Basic proficiency in Powershell and API custom scripting.
• Serviceoriented mindset prioritizing client needs over technical aspects and a startup mindset capable of working under pressure or uncertainty with tight timelines.
• Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.
