Lab Assistant Technician

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment
• Assist in conducting experiments and analyses
• Record and organize experimental data and findings
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Calibrate and maintain instruments
• Prepare chemical solutions and reagents
• Assist in inventory management of supplies
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the laboratory
• Support researchers and scientists in their activities
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Dispose of hazardous waste materials in accordance with regulations
• Participate in laboratory meetings and discussions
• Conduct basic data analysis and reporting
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting equipment issues
• Collaborate with other lab staff to ensure smooth functioning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific field
• Proven experience in a laboratory setting
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments
• Ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately
