Senior Support Worker - Teeside

Medsolve are currently hiring for an amazing company who are looking for full time dedicated Senior Support Workers to provide quality personcentred support to Children and Young people who require structure in their lives in the Teeside area.

This is a Permanent role and we offer a salary of 13.00 per hour. Please note we do NOT offer sponsorship.

Shift pattern is Days and/or Nights (12 hour Shifts).

As a Senior Support Worker you will work alongside the Manager in managing the home in an effective confidential manner whilst supporting our young people to progress positively through receiving encouragement understanding care and patience. You will work with external agencies and attend relevant meetings as necessary. All daily and specific paperwork will need to be completed to a high standard.

You will undertake duties specific to Senior Support Workers such as updating risk assessments completing supervisions supporting training plus offering support in daily tasks.

We are looking for Senior Support Workers with some of the following skills and attributes:

• Right to Work in the UK
  
• 6 Months UK experience of working within a similar setting
  
• 5 years of professional references
  
• Enhanced DBS subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
  
• Relevant Qualifications (desirable)
  
• Driver (or willing to learn)
  

level 3 Diploma in Social Care (018 year olds) Will require no further NVQ.

Next Desirable Qualifications

level 3 Diploma in Adult social care (Will require doing 3 units of Residential Care level three NVQ)

No Qualifications requires full level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (17 Units)
