Engineering Director

Our client is a fintech company specializing in cryptocurrencyrelated products. They are currently seeking an Engineering Director to join their team and lead an offshore team located in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical initiatives architect and design for endtoend software development.
• Develop the software development roadmap and architect the technical aspects.
• Manage an offshore team to implement new technical strategies and oversee system development.
• Design advanced analytics systems using scalable technologies.
• Assess infrastructure propose scalable solutions and effectively communicate with teams.
• Plan manage and execute technical projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and product teams.
• Draft concise technical requirement documents and foster innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Architectural and design experience in data engineering with handson experience in Golang (backend).
• Extensive expertise in Algorithms Data Structures Operating Systems Databases & Distributed Systems and foundational Cryptography.
• Proven track record with cloudbased distributed database solutions and streaming processes.
• Demonstrated ability in infrastructure development within largescale database architectures especially within reputable data companies.
• Indepth understanding and practical application of database management technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage offshore teams and willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
