This Cambridge based pharmaceutical company are world leaders in drug discovery and development. They have multiple new drug candidates progressing in clinical development and so are looking to grow their image processing team. The team are creating 3D protein structures from imaging data.

We are looking for individuals who can build tools that allow scientists to discover protein structures. You will be a key part of team working on front end web applications whilst also improving backend processes. You will need experience working with Python Javascript Git and RESTAPIs. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with wider teams within the company contributing to wider software development projects.

Your responsibilities may include:

Develop web applications for cryoEM processing and data visualisation/analysis

Develop and improve backend processing by developing and implementing robust coding practices and version control systems

Implement new methodologies software packages and functionalities

Integrate algorithms for image acquisition software

You need to have experience in the following:

Experience with single particle cryoEM data processing

Proficiency in Python and JavaScript

Familiarity with common software development tools practices

Experience with 1 or more of the following: HTML CSS FastAPI
