Production and Industrial - Material Handler

Job Description: High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of general warehouse experience (preferred).
Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
Must be able to perform simple math such as add subtract whole numbers.
Must be able to read write and understand the English language.
Must have excellent hand/eye coordination skills and the ability to lift and load pallets with weights up to 50 pounds.
Experience with computers and scanning equipment (preferred).
Able to work in a fastpaced team environment.
Able to adjust to changing operating conditions quickly and efficiently and vary pace as required.
Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking stooping bending and reaching) required.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desire to work as part of a team but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly.

Primary assignment: receiving put away internal deliveries picking.
Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
As needed:
work in other process paths: receiving packing or shipping.
package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials (training to be provided).
complete basic Navision transactions: complete work orders transfer inventory etc. (training to be provided)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Perform physical count for daily Cycle count.
Help ensure inventory is stored accurately.
Responsible for maintaining 5S in the workspace.
Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
