Technical Writer I

Location: Williamsburg VA 23185

Contract: 12 Months on W2

Timing: Monday to Friday (8am 5pm)

Pay Rate: $39.09/hr.

Job Description:

• 13 years experience in role.
• Responsible for maintaining and modifying existing technical manuals procedures and work instructions.
• May participate in the writing of new operation and maintenance manuals online webbased documents and technical publications.
• Organizes and analyzes source materials such as design and test specifications design diagrams and schematics.
• Completes tasks with input from Quality Team. Understands company goals and practices and applies them when resolving a variety of problems.
• Receives only general instructions on new work.
• Uses judgment and creativity and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions.
• May interface with senior management to convey information.
