Senior Data Engineer

1. Design develop and deploy robust data pipelines to process and analyze large volumes of data efficiently.
2. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including data scientists business analysts and software engineers to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
3. Implement best practices for data ingestion storage and retrieval to ensure data integrity and reliability.
4. Optimize and finetune data processing workflows for performance and efficiency.
5. Build and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure using modern technologies and cloud platforms.
6. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues proactively.
7. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies and procedures.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.

1. Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
2. 5 12 years of experience in data engineering ETL development or related roles.
3. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Scala or Java.
4. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark Kafka and Hive.
5. Proficiency in designing and optimizing SQL queries and database schemas.
6. Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
7. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g. Redshift Snowflake).
8. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
9. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
10. Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a plus.
