TPF Recruitment has partnered with a fantastic fastgrowing and multisited firm of chartered accountants who are recruiting for a Tax Manager to join their team in Horsham. You will work in a mixed accounts and tax capacity and have exposure to some excellent clients ranging from sole traders and small Ltd companies through to some significantly sized groups. Their clients are a mixture of both corporate and notforprofit organisations. There are great prospects on offer in this leading firm of accountants.

Tax Manager Duties:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Managing a portfolio of ownermanaged businesses made up of sole traders Ltd companies and LLPs
  • Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts corporate and personal tax returns and VAT returns
  • Managing the delivery of tax and accounts advisory projects and presenting the results to clients
  • Identifying and evaluating risk management issues
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
  • Overseeing and supporting the work of more junior members of the team


Requirements

Our ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be fully ATT CTA ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Have experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Have experience managing the workload of junior staff and mentoring them.
  • Have experience working with personal and capital gains tax (experience with inheritance tax P11D forms ATED returns and trusts is desirable but not essential)
  • Have a strong interest in tax
  • Aptitude for delivering excellent customer service
  • Approachable with an ability to build strong working relationships
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as they would be dealing directly with clients
