Geotechnical Design Engineer

• Project planning coordinating and engaging with clients to gather input data.
  
• Issuance and preparation of Design Sections for the company verified through manual calculations.
  
• Collaborating with clients/consultants to approve designs and drawings ensuring overall stability evaluating foundation conditions analysing ground improvement needs and recommending techniques.
  
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) or Variance Analysis Report.
  
• Compiling monthly reports on Design and Drawing Activity Sheet Report.
  
• Overseeing and managing CAD Department activities ensuring error free generation and timely drawings dispatch.
  
• Utilizing AUTOCAD for drawing preparation as required.
  
• Prepare proposals conduct case studies and drafting preliminary designs for cost estimation.
  
• Maintain project monitoring and follow up for submission of design and drawings.
  
• Validating foundation investigation data according to the best geotechnical engineering practice and shall be made to reverify if required site visits.
  
• Verifying the quality of selected fill soil to meet the company s specification.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering / M. Tech (Geotechnical) is required.
  
• 34 years of relevant experience in Wall Design / Geotechnical Engineering / Civil Engineering Design.
  
• Profound understanding and knowledge in Geotechnical Engineering and Applications.
  
• Proficiency in computer working knowledge of MS Office strong Excel skills Design Software knowledge and AUTOCAD.
  
• Excellent in planning and coordination communication skills effective quality checks and exceptional time management skills to ensure timely completion of scheduled work.
