Job Description:

As a Water / Wastewater Engineer at SDE you will be responsible for developing and managing wastewater and water treatment projects to protect the environment and public health. You will work with a team of specialists using your skills to solve challenging wastewater issues.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with regulators and clients to guarantee compliance.
• Design test and optimize water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Create engineering plans specs and reports.
• Carry out hydraulic and process modeling for water and wastewater facilities.
• Conduct feasibility and environmental impact evaluations.
• Give technical advice and support to project teams.
• Stay informed on industry developments and developing technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• 5 years of experience in water or wastewater engineering.
• Proficiency in relevant computer modeling software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
