Registered Manager

My client is looking for an experienced CQC registered Home Manager to lead and compliment their team at their very well established Care Home in Bristol.

This Role could be for you:

You must be passionate about providing the highest possible standards of care according to individual needs lead the team in all aspects of the day to day running of the home and understand the importance and dedication needed for this role. You must be equally passionate and educated to provide staff mentoring to extend their learning and be able to inspire and lead the team forwards into their career.

The home can accommodate up to 21 residents and is an elderly dementia and respite care led home. The Home Manager will be responsible for all operational and financial aspects of the home ensuring the home is compliant with the relevant legislation and standards through continual monitoring and practical support.

It is an expectation of the role that the candidate has 23 years’ experience of being in a managerial role within a residential home along with the ability to create a compassionate and respectful environment for your staff and residents. A strong commercial acumen is desirable as you will be accountable for the operations and activities within the home along with having excellent selfgenerated organisational skills and holding successful completion of a NVQ Level 5 in health and social care with good knowledge of the CQC single assessment framework.

Schedule:

• Day shift

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• NVQ Level 5 health and social care management OR be close to completing Level 5
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Manager of an elderly Care Home
• Ability to Commute: Downend Bristol (required)

• Working as the manager of a residential home with an excellent reputation and a lovely feel to the home overall
• You must have NVQ Level 5 in Healthcare Management
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Registered Manager of an elderly Care Home
• Excellent experience in caring for older people
• Confident in your knowledge of CQC regulations & good links with local CCGs.
• A portfolio of running care homes with a Good CQC report or more
