Engineering Manager for a Sustainability SaaS

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our fastgrowing team working to decarbonize buildings and construction. Youll join a supportive effective and missionoriented team in a flexible friendly work environment and have a great deal of autonomy in your role.

One Click LCAs carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform is used in over 140 countries and is growing rapidly. It integrates with all the leading design software packages and all environmental databases in the industry and provides over 60 modules for lowcarbon design and carbon transparency. We target construction and built environment (where we are the global leader) and manufacturing verticals responsible for nearly half of global carbon emissions.

Our vision is that the industry will manage carbon as it manages cost: measuring reporting and reducing carbon as a standard business practice. One Click LCA provides practical solutions to make this happen.

This fulltime permanent position is available on a hybrid basis for candidates based in Helsinki Finland.

What you will do:

• Supervise multiple development teams guiding software development and ensuring project alignment with company objectives.
• Proactively manage dependencies across projects to ensure seamless delivery.
• Unblock teams and facilitate problemsolving to maintain momentum on critical delivery items.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship leveraging a strong background in software engineering principles.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement emphasizing the importance of relevant and impactful deliverables.
• Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to align development efforts with broader business goals.
• Drive initiatives to enhance SaaS delivery processes incorporating best practices for agile and scalable development.

What you need:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a software development environment with a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
• Experience of leading distributed development teams
• Technical proficiency is essential; specific experience in Java MongoDB React and Python is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional problemsolving communication and project management skills.
• Experience in SaaS delivery models is highly desirable.
• Degree froma related field.
• Fluency in English as it is our working language.
