Senior Frontend Developer Optimizely EPiServer CMS

• Provide HTML/CSS/SASS/JS/TS code support for website built with the Optimizely CMS.
  
• Create and update MVC views (Razor/cshtml files) based on UI/UX requirements and if needed collaborate with backend developers to make appropriate changes.
  
• Work on new and existing React components and Webpackbased bundles.
  
• Write JavaScript code for interaction and functionality based on Webpack JQuery Bootstrap JS libraries. Update legacy code as needed.
  
• Maintain and write clean code adhering to standards and Optimizely CMS best practices.
  
• Ensure pages render correctly across multiple browsers/versions with consistent lookand feel
  
• Work with git repositories on Bitbucket branching and merging code appropriately.
  
• Spearhead defining and enforcing coding standards in existing and new web pages.
  
• Review and approve code by junior developers as needed.
  
• Participate in calls to design and conceptualise solutions.
  
• Willing to learn new technology to advance skills and quickly adapt to technology/platform changes
  

Requirements

• Willingness to work during UK business hours
  
• Computer Science or Software Engineering Degree
  
• At least four years of experience working on CMS based websites preferably on .NET based CMS (e.g. Optimizly Sitecore Umbraco) and/or React projects
  
• Strong HTML CSS and Responsive Web Design (RWD) skills including experience with Bootstrap and SASS
  
• JavaScript knowledge with working experience in vanilla JavsScript JQuery Highcharts and similar libraries
  
• Strong understanding of Git and testing on BrowserStack
  
• Good communication skills and native fluency in the English language
  
• Ability to interact effectively with staff and clients over email and phone
  
• Good problemsolving skills and ability to work well in a fastpaced team environment
  
• Knowledge/interest in capital markets funds and asset management will be an advantage
