Senior Software Engineer REMOTE

We currently have a very exciting opportunity available with our client for a Senior Software Engineer. This role is remote and requires flexibility to travel up to 5% of the time.

In this role you will be responsible for enhancing the existing ThirdParty Risk Products. As a Senior Software Engineer you will build and implement new technologies to deliver the capabilities to our members and subscribers for their ThirdParty Risk programs. Your success as a senior software engineer will help drive the organization forward by leveraging market expertise and creativity to define and to implement their next generation of solutions. In addition the Senior Software Engineer will assist in the development of custom solutions to fulfill business requirements with a focus on technical excellence and high quality.

Responsibilities:

Support product strategy focusing on customer value competitive position and business value and translate those into product goals and themes improving product adoption and value realization.

Design build test and support relational database management systems (RDBMS) to support both internal backend and internetfacing webenabled applications.

Design and implement API solutions for clients whether directly or in coordination with an external consultant company.

Champion the client and user experience from product design to development and delivery to market ensuring adoption value delivery and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with the company Products Committee members to gather requirements for product design.

Drive product initiatives and ensure alignment across products and contribute to the company strategy/OKRs in collaboration with Product Marketing Sales and Partner teams.

Set and clearly communicate roadmap & development objectives needs and status of projects to internal stakeholders and members.

Maintain and support existing Excel VBA products.

Evaluate existing products to reprogram update and add new features.

Collaborate with a team of nonIT professionals to identify specifications for updates to existing products.

Development of new solutions/products to meet members needs with a focus on technical excellence.

Assist in functional and nonfunctional testing.

Resolve Product support tickets by troubleshooting and debugging.

Required Qualifications:

BS/BA in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.

At least 4 years of professional software engineering/development experience preferably RDMBS and web development.

Experience with API integration.

Familiarity with public cloud providers (e.g. Azure Google Cloud or AWS)

Experience as an engineer working in risk management thirdparty risk management data governance privacy cyber security or related fields a plus.

Strong experience and track record with enterprise RDBMS development and support such as SQL NoSQL streaming platforms API web apps and file systems.

Handson experience with technical projects and identifying and implementing technology solutions.

Subject matter expert in technology and the enterprise data ecosystem who can handle significant complexity.

Capable of working in a fastpaced environment while juggling multiple personas and prioritizing competing tasks and deadlines to deliver on aggressive timelines.

Technical competence in data warehouses identity security products and technologies.

Demonstrable experience and expertise in developing technical solutions that integrate with enterprise applications.

Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

Skilled at working effectively with crossfunctional teams and influencing conversations to drive positive product and business outcomes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to know when its necessary to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done.

Proven experience as an expertlevel Excel VBA developer.

Flexibility to travel up to 5% of the time.
