Sr Project Manager - AV Events

• Act as point of contact for client questions related to video lighting audio and general event needs
  
• Ability to act as a site lead if needed
  
• Work closely with event planners and producers to ensure that the technical setup meets the requirements and objectives of each event.
  
• Process and test new equipment to ensure proper functionality
  
• Set up operate breakdown and maintain technical equipment for live events
  
• Be responsible for onsite coordination and oversight of all technical aspects of the production.
  
• Manage the team of technicians and engineers for live and virtual events
  
• Configure equipment and racks to ensure ease of setup and operation onsite
  
• Scan in/out orders to the companys inventory tracking system as needed
  
• Evaluate equipment that needs repair and assist with repairs as necessary
  
• Collaborate with other team members for successful events
  
• Quickly work to resolve technical issues as they arise
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Video experience is required.
  
• Strong knowledge of video audio and lighting terminology and operation of equipment
  
• Knowledge of computer networking and signal flow
  
• Working knowledge of standard broadcast equipment
  
• Advanced computer literacy in graphic design. Skills in Adobe Suite Photoshop Premier and After Effect preferred
  
• Understanding of current best practices and programs for virtual events
  
• Understanding of IP networks (Internet Intranet VPN Dante NDI etc )
  
• Proficiency in at least one Computer Aided Design program (Vectorworks preferred)
  
• Ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients
  
• Ability to learn and stay current with the newest AVL Technologies
  
• Working knowledge of LED walls and signal processing
  
• Working knowledge of video resolutions chroma subsampling and frame rates
  
• Working knowledge of lighting design.
  
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
  
• Wellrounded knowledge and skills in all areas of production preferred
  
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and problemsolve in a timesensitive production environment

• Travel required as needed both locally nationally and at times internationally.
  
• Driver s license required
