Install repair and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
Use power tools and hand tools to cut assemble and install pipes and fittings
Thread pipes using pipe threading machines
Install and repair HVAC systems
Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites
Weld pipes together using welding equipment
Assemble and install fixtures such as sinks toilets and water heaters
Perform heavy lifting as required

Skills:
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for plumbing tasks
Experience with pipe threading machines for cutting and threading pipes
Knowledge of HVAC systems installation and repair
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and ability to operate commercial vehicles safely
Welding skills for joining pipes together
Ability to assemble and install various plumbing fixtures
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting
