Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design code and test custom SAP applications using ABAP OOPS concepts.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs to ensure optimal system performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed programs and interfaces.
• Develop and optimize complex reports using ALV and other tools.
• Implement enhancements and modifications to existing SAP modules.
• Work on SAP data dictionary objects such as tables data elements and structures.
• Integrate SAP applications with external systems through various interfaces.
• Participate in system testing performance tuning and support activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior ABAP developers.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for SAP development processes.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions.
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices ensuring high code quality and maintainability.
• Support system upgrades and migrations by adapting existing ABAP code.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum X years of experience in SAP ABAP development with strong OOPS concepts.
• Proficiency in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs.
• Experience in developing and maintaining reports using ALV and other reporting tools.
• Indepth knowledge of SAP data dictionary objects and structures.
• Expertise in implementing enhancements and modifications using user exits BAdIs and enhancement spots.
• Handson experience in integrating SAP with external systems through ALE IDoc and other interfaces.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration points.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior ABAP developers is a plus.
• SAP certification in ABAP development is preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori SAP Cloud Platform or other SAP technologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA database concepts is a plus.
