Job skills and responsibilities:

• Ability to come up with multiple solutions and selection of the lowest cost
• alternative as per design requirements. Optimize analog and digital circuit design
• by identifying components reviewing endoflife component lifecycles and
• conducting technical evaluation and testing. Use expertise in power supplies
• microprocessors microcontrollers memories peripheral interfaces and displays of
• industrial products.
• Review/compare component specifications between like components from the
• same and different manufacturers including specifications of all electrical/electro
• mechanical components (purpose of each pin timing speed voltage and current
• limits) and effects on circuits.
• Overseeing manufacturing processes prototype circuit board design and
• development activities and electrical bill of material (BoM) preparation for printed
• circuit boards and interact with component vendors to get information on designs
• board bring up functional and system testing.
• Gain understanding and familiarization of Bently Nevada products and process
• requirements to enable the engineer to conduct feasibility analysis on PWA
• changes and provide design changes and support through release of the product
• changes.
• Conduct cost comparisons and feasibility studies on mechanical components such
• as sheet metal castings machined components standoffs and electromechanical
• components to help identify potential MCO projects.
