Contract Specialist

Job Description

The Provider Contracting Team as part of USV&A supports Client by supporting the Coverage and Pricing teams in developing and implementing contract strategies to assist client in its mission to serve patients by enabling access to client products. We are looking for a Contract Specialist to join our dynamic and mission critical team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to work independently and ask questions and elevate dialogue where needed

Able to work in a dynamically changing business environment

Ability to simplify a complex business strategy and integrate it into a contract

Strong oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills at all organizational level

REQUIREMENTS:

At least three (3) years experience in commercial contracting preferably in the pharma or medical device industry

Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment

Successfully manage own workload under minimal direction

Comfortable working with new systems/technology specifically a contract life cycle management (CLM) system

Experienced in drafting contracts/notices based upon existing templates

Basic understanding of contracts

Great attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral)

RESPONSBILTIES

Reading and analyzing agreements amendments notice letters and other contract documents

Drafting contracts/notices utilizing approved templates and modifying such as needed per the direction of the supervising Contracts Manager

Ensuring the data in the CLM/CPQ system accurately reflects the pricing strategies agreed upon in the executed contract.

Communicating with other crossfunctional components of the department in the operation and implementation of the various pricing strategies to confirm understanding of the data being entered into our CLM system
