We are seeking a junior level Trader to work in our Buckhead office. Responsibilities to include:

• Trade execution electronically submit trades recommended by advisors and reconcile said trades with custodian T1 using trading software; may call in more complex trades as needed.
• Serve as secondary contact for custodians regarding all equity ETF and investment company securities. Help configure and maintain Trading and Rebalancing system.
• Act as trading service support liaison between investment advisors and custodians. Assist with execution of trades for internally managed strategies.
• Operational duties including but not limited to new account setup in trading and rebalancing system fund transfers resolution of cost basis and other account related issues as they occur.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance or business related field preferred.
• 12 years of experience in the industry preferred with a focus on trade execution
• Understanding of different order types and ability to recommend trade types given liquidity of a stock or ETF
• Familiarity with different types of securities (equities mutual funds options fixed income money markets etc.) and trading practices for each
• Superior verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex market issues in simple language so that nontrading personnel can understand
• High levels of selfmotivation and analytical skills
• Experience with iRebal Black Diamond or other trading and rebalancing platforms a plus willingness to adapt to changing priorities as the organization grows
