Kalpana Fellowship Program:

Kalpana Fellowship inspired by the trailblazing astronaut Kalpana Chawla is Skyroots groundbreaking initiative to recognize support and empower talented and passionate women to launch and build coveted careers in the space sector through exclusive paid fellowships that could lead to fulltime employment at Skyroot.

The fellowship is open for Women Indian Nationals. This program duration is one year onsite at Skyroot Aerospace Headquarters Hyderabad.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:

• Final Year B. Tech/ M. Tech/ PhD degrees and specializations related to Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Chemical and Electrical Engineering.
  
• Recent B. Tech/ M. Tech/ PhD graduates (freshers) in the above streams with no professional experience within 2 years from the successful date of completion of studies.
  

Selection Process:

The candidates will undergo evaluation across three stages to identify and assess competencies essential for a Kalpana Fellow to realize the envisioned goals of the fellowship.

• Stage 3 Technical Interview

• 20 February 2024 Registration opens
  
• 20 March 2024 Registration closes
  
• April 1st Week 2024 Intimation sent to eligible candidates
  
• April 3rd Week 2024 Online Test & Shortlisting of candidates
  
• April 4th week 2024 Tech Skill Check (Problem Statement/ Case Study) and Shortlisting of candidates
  
• May 2024 Final interview round
  
• June 2024 Declaration of qualified Fellows
  
• July 2024 Commencement of fellowship with monthly allowance
