Head- Manufacturing Certification

Job Purpose:

Accountable for facilitating process definition implementation and adherence to Integrated Management System requirements including legal compliances at the manufacturing plants by building a knowledgeable organization through skill enhancement of internal auditors process owners through training and handholding to consistently improvise processes to deliver defect free products. The role scope is across all the plants.

Major Accountabilities:

Continual improvement of the quality system through assessment audits so that customer derives satisfaction. Compliance for Integrated Management System (IMS) is maintained across the plants. Ensure that observa tions of external IMS audits are concluded in a stipulated timeline. Facilitate all for legal compliance requirements; keep an eye on this for any amendment. Responsible for not only meeting the IMS compliance but ensure that the intent is also met.

2 Conduct Internal audits to determine extent to which QMS requirements are adhered and identify improvement areas. Define parameters to measure effectiveness of internal audits. Extend support to process owners to eliminate compliance gaps wrt clauses and then raise bars for higher quality standards. Internal audits are conducted timely & effectively; observations are closed within defined timelines.

3 Responsible for 3rd party audit customer audit factory acceptance test (FAT). Ensure process adherence and availability of documentary evidences. Get the audit observations closed as per deadlines. Report to top management on audit performance key findings and closure actions.

4. Develop ISO auditors base in organization through skill enhancement training (external internal) & handholding such that overall competency of auditors group is increased resulting in continual process improvements. Develop strategy and identify actionable items in this regard. Define parameters to measure effectiveness of internal auditors.

5 Facilitate process owners to enhance their knowledge on IMS by imparting training on IMS requirements documentation (adequacy retrieval retention) and support them analyze unachieved targets and respective improvement actions. Keep an eye on all process changes @ Operations and raise alerts wherever IMS compliance is affected.

6 Trigger Harmonization of process across all plants. Review periodically inform/escalate if needed.

7 Facilitate the process owners in identifying & understanding required compliances with respect to EMS H&S and QMS for deployment of new tool / machine / testing facility.

Education:

B.E / B. tech in Electrical Electronics & Communication Or instrumentations

Experience:

8 to 13 years of experience in Electronics manufacturing industry. Desirable to have experience on certification processes e.g BIS ISO MID
