2. BASIC FUNCTION
a. Lead and supervise pool of technicians related to electronic & instrumentation maintenance activities. In charge for maintenance of all plant equipment.
3. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND ABILITIES
a. Has strong leadership & supervisory skills.
b. Well adopted in principles and uses of different motion drives and inverters.
c. Able to understand and interpret ladder diagrams in PLC applications
d. Able to work lengthy hours if needed and works all shift flexibly when job demands.
4. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
a. Graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering degree or Electronic Engineering degree. Preferable licensed Electronic Engineer issued by government institution.
b. At least three (3) years worked in ceramic or tile manufacturing in same position is an advantage.
c. or at least five (5) years experienced as Engineer or Supervisor in any related manufacturing industry.
5. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Plans daily activities with respect to scheduled corrective and preventive maintenance.
b. Ensure breakdown maintenance is tackled based on priority with minimum downtime.
c. Coordinates & works with Automation Engineer for all task and issues related to programs and diagnosis.
d. Attends routine calibration for all electronical controlled process instruments. Ensure all parameters are within range with no variation.
e. Ensures all back up programs are intact and available for each and every PLC controlled equipment. Similarly that all data are password protect & UPS are active.
f. Distributes manpower based on necessity & requirement. Ensures no man hour losses.
g. Ensure technical support and physical presence is provided in order to inspect the performance & quality of job in every task being attended.
h. Plans spare parts requirement and ensure that correct power & hand tools is used.
i. Maintains documentations & records. Ensure all maintenance orders are completed filled with all data require (spare parts task list & man hours) and technically closed.
j. Maintains shop housekeeping employee discipline & ensure safety at work.
