Crossdepartmental collaboration
- We are unique in that there is very little discommunication (lack of mutual understanding) between engineers and AI consultants which is often heard in AI startups.

Roles and Responsibility
As the main engineer for your project you will be responsible for data analysis model development/improvement reporting of results etc. in collaboration with our solution designers (responsible for customer negotiations project management etc.)
One lead machine learning engineer will be assigned to each project to provide support.
Specific duties
- Development of solutions using machine learning technologies such as deep learning
- Customized development of machine learning solutions for client projects
- Development of systems using machine learning technologies
- Technical briefings to internal project members and customers
Case StudyMany of our clients are listed companies.
- Development of optimization methods for factory production processes (semiconductors)
- Development of a cloudbased search/recommendation system (recruiting)
- Development of image anomaly detection system (transportation)
Minimum Requirements
- Experience in machine learning research
- Japanese language skills at business level or above
- English proficiency to read English papers
Preferred Requirements
Machine Learning
- Master/PhD degree related to computer science
- Contribution to international conferences and journals related to machine learning
- Experience in applying machine learning to realworld problems in collaborative research etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning in general
- Fundamental processing methods for natural language images speech structured data etc.
- Basic knowledge of the principles of deep learning and statistical machine learning
- Expertise in a specific area of machine learning
Engineering
- Development experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch TensorFlow Keras etc.
- Experience working in remote environments (onpre AWS etc.) and containers (Docker)
- Experience managing code using GitHub or GitLab
- Experience in Python/C/Go/Rust development
Other
- Experience in catching up with nonspecialized technologies
- Able to communicate logically and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to make decisions and work autonomously
- Ability to communicate in English (as some employees are nonJapanese)

- You will be paired with a solution designer in charge of the business and an engineer to work on projects so you will need to be able to work on issues independently
- Able to say that you dont understand something and to be able to ask others what you dont understand
- Able to solve problems not only by using methods and algorithms but also by rethinking the problem set
- Catch up with unfamiliar or nonspecialized technologies
- May be required to learn technologies that you do not know including those outside your area of expertise
- Have interest in a wide range of technologies

Annual Salary: 4.5M 8M JPY
- Determined based on skills experience and ability
- Bonuses twice a year (varies depending on individual performance and company results)
Hours: 09:45 18:30 (1 hour break included)
