Java Application Architect

Responsibilities:

1. Project Design and Leadership:

   • Leverage your 7 years of experience in designing and architecting IT projects.
   • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in the development of Java applications.

2. Team Management and Mentorship:

   • Lead manage mentor and coach a team of developers and technical professionals.
   • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

3. Technology Expertise:

   • Possess extensive experience in J2EE/Java technologies including JSP EJB JBoss 7.x application servers and JDBC.
   • Proficient in MSSQL JSF framework Web Services PL/SQL and technologies such as HTML XML and Angular.

4. Requirements Analysis:

   • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.
   • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

5. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure the quality performance and scalability of Java applications.
   • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.

6. Documentation:

   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs processes and system configurations.

7. Compliance and Security:

   • Ensure that Java applications comply with industry standards and regulations especially in Government Law Enforcement or Public Safety sectors.
   • Implement and enforce security best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
2. 7 years of experience in designing and architecting IT projects.
3. Proven leadership and team management experience.
4. Strong expertise in J2EE/Java technologies (JSP EJB) JBoss 7.x application servers and JDBC.
5. Experience with MSSQL JSF framework Web Services PL/SQL HTML XML and/or Angular.
6. Familiarity with Government Law Enforcement or Public Safety IT projects is highly desirable.
