Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is seeking a compassionate and experienced Temporary Nanny to assist in the toilet training of a delightful 3.5yearold boy before he embarks on his journey to school. The position entails providing care play and guidance to facilitate successful toilet training over approximately two weeks with the possibility of extension based on the childs progress.

Responsibilities:

Engage in playbased learning activities with the child to create a positive and supportive environment.

Provide attentive care and supervision to ensure the childs safety and wellbeing throughout the day.

Encourage and assist the child in using the potty or toilet offering positive reinforcement and encouragement.

Maintain open communication with the family regarding the childs progress and any concerns or developments.

Implement strategies and techniques to support the childs toilet training journey tailoring approaches to his individual needs and preferences.

Create a nurturing and patient atmosphere to promote the childs confidence and independence in toilet training.

Requirements:

Proven experience in childcare with a focus on toilet training and early childhood development.

Confidence and patience in working with young children particularly during the toilet training process.

Ability to engage children in ageappropriate activities and play while encouraging positive behaviours.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the child and his family.

Understanding of child development principles and willingness to adapt strategies based on the childs progress and needs.

Valid DBS check and relevant certifications in childcare and first aid are essential.

This temporary position offers flexible hours ideally from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Friday negotiable based on the your availability.
