Medical Receptionist- Doctor Office Receptionist

We are looking for a medical receptionist in a medical office located in Fort Lauderdale.

Fulltime position Monday to Friday. Stable job.

Previous experience working as a receptionist in a medical office.

Tasks

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Assist patients entering the office and answer calls to schedule patient appointments
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient information and insurance coverage
• Collect payments and issue receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Receive calls from other offices with referred patients and reception of laboratory exams

Requirements

• Positive attitude
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Job stability
• Previous experience working as a receptionist in a medical office
