Carriers building automation center of excellence (Automated Logic Corporation) is looking for someone who will be responsible for achieving building automation and control product orders and sales objectives for the region designated territory or customer base. In doing so the position is responsible for driving product sales with channel partners; executing effective sales strategies and tactics; providing sales assistance and business support to channel partners; and performing various administrative management and product marketing duties commensurate with the position. Responsibilities
  • Financial Performance
  • Achievement of annual Order Bookings and Sales targets for the territory as wells as the achievement targets set for each individual accounts.
  • Accurately plan and forecast order bookings for the territory as a whole and for individual accounts.
  • Business Planning & Development
  • Devise and execute near and longterm business plans which increase business revenues.
  • Aggressively seek out and pursue new and/or incremental business opportunities.
  • Demand Generation
  • Assist with company marketing programs that build market awareness and acceptance of company brands.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of localized sales strategies designed to secure business with target customers and/or in unique market segments.
  • Account Support & Development
  • Obtain business plans from each individual account which clearly state mutually acceptable business commitments and objectives designed to grow ALC market share and manage (and hold accountable) the dealers progress in achieving the plans stated objectives.
  • Provide and coordinate sales and marketing assistance to individual customer accounts.
  • Ensure accounts are well versed on ALC products engineering tools and technical support systems necessary for successfully selling and delivering quality ALC systems to customers.
  • Channel Management
  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts that may arise in the region between accounts as well as conflicts occurring between accounts and their enduse customers.
  • Fairly resolve disputes that may arise from time to time between the company and individual accounts.
  • Administrative & Other Duties
  • Effectively cooperate with other departments and individuals in carrying out responsibilities and assigned task.
  • At all times protect the business interest of the company. This includes but is not limited to protection of company brands and reputations and intellectual property rights.
  • At all times demonstrate a commitment to ethical leadership and practice the highest standards of ethics and business conduct. This encompasses relationships with customers employees suppliers share owners competitors and the communities in which we operate.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
  • College or University degree in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Sciences Business Administration.
  • 8 years working experience in Building Automation & Controls industry.
  • 5 years working experience selling and marketing Building Automation & Controls solutions.
  • 5 years working experience managing and servicing product distributor accounts.
  • You must be fluent in English both written and verbal.
  • You must have knowledge of automation and control systems HVAC lighting and general building systems both in design and maintainability.
  • You must have proven sells communication and design skills within engineering documentation systems and ability to work within a fastmoving engineering design team.
  • You must have a good reference list of contacts within the industry and across the territory with whom you would immediately start to market our product brands.
  • You must have ample knowledge of the building automation industrys market conditions such as market size and types politicaleconomic situation competition sales channels and other factors important to planning business growth.
  • The position requires extensive travel within the territory and periodic travel to other international destinations typically the USA. The successful candidate must be prepared for this and as such needs to have no travel restrictions both legal and personal.
