Repair Maintenance

The Maintenance Person is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of a facility or property. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks troubleshooting issues and addressing repairs to maintain a safe and functional environment. The Maintenance Person plays a critical role in preventing equipment failures and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of equipment systems and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as changing filters and inspecting electrical systems.
Maintain records of maintenance activities including dates and details of repairs.
2. Repairs and Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical plumbing and structural issues.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
3. Facility Upkeep:
Ensure a clean and safe environment by performing cleaning and janitorial duties as needed.
Maintain the appearance of the property by painting patching walls and performing minor cosmetic repairs.
4. Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment and systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Ensure compliance with manufacturerrecommended maintenance procedures.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities expenses and equipment manuals.

6. Emergency Response:
Be available for oncall duty to respond to maintenance emergencies outside regular working hours.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenancerelated fields is a plus.
Proven experience in general maintenance repair and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and carpentry systems.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
