Data Analyst

Job brief

Our client is seeking a dynamic Data Analyst who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights and driving business decisions. This role will also involve handling sales operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect interpret and collate relevant data for accurate decisionmaking.
  
• Develop implement and monitor SOPs for key processes.
  
• Manage customer accounts and coordinate with the sales team.
  
• Identify analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex business data sets.
  
• Analyze daily weekly and monthly sales and transport system performance.
  
• Work closely with the CEO to ensure timely completion of company operational assignments.
  
• Review and report on the accuracy timeliness and relevance of operational information.
  
• Follow up with other departments to obtain accurate data for analysis.
  
• Monitor company processes and recommend improvements.
  
• Supervise fleet drivers and sales van men preparing dispatch instructions.
  
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  
• Prioritize business and information needs in collaboration with management.
  
• Handle various operational and administrative duties as assigned.
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1) preferred.
  
• Technical expertise in data models database design data mining and segmentation techniques.
  
• Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages (e.g. Excel).
  
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Operational excellence is an advantage.
  
• Bachelor s Degree in Mathematics Economics Computer Science Information Management Statistics or equivalent.
  
• 24 years of handson experience especially in handling bulk and complex data.
