Data Specialist

As Data Specialist at SpendLab you will play a pivotal role in integrating data from various ERP systems including but not limited to SAP 4/HANA Oracle NetSuite AFAS and Microsoft Dynamics. About SpendLab
SpendLab helps over 170 organizations annually with the recovery of overpaid payments also known as accounts payable recovery audits. SpendLab investigates outgoing cash flows and incorrectly processed VAT within financial administrations using more than 450 inhouse developed algorithms. We analyze the invoice and payment flows of large private and public organizations to identify inaccuracies based on a nocure nopay basis. Additionally we assist organizations in achieving cost savings through procurement and process optimization.

Tasks

What do we expect from you

• Extract customer data: Extract data from various sources including databases cloud services and onpremises systems. You will do this both digitally and onpremises depending on the customer.
• Data Integration: Integrate the financial data using DISAP. Promptly identify bottlenecks in data conversion and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Perform data quality checks and validation to maintain high data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL/ELT process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with customers data specialists project managers and the data manager. Actively participate in innovative efficiency improvements related to financial data conversion. You will be an important stakeholder in the further development of DISAP & other technological innovations such as API connections.

Requirements

What does your profile look like

• Minimum of two years demonstrable work experience within financial administrations.
• Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Finance Economics Accounting IT or a related field.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills and a bias for action.
• Be at least 32 hours available and reside in the Eindhoven or Amsterdam area.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken is required. Familiar with Dutch and eager to learn it.
• A drive to learn and develop yourself.
• Pre: experience with SQL.
• Pre: indepth knowledge of accounting systems such as SAP 4/HANA Oracle NetSuite AFAS and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Pre: Indepth knowledge of data integration and ELT/ETL best practices data modeling(SQL) and data warehousing.
• Pre: Experience with SCRUM methodology.
