What Youll Be Doing:

• Wave your wand (or keyboard) to manage daily accounting transactions with finesse and flair.
  
• Perform some bank account and credit card reconciliation because who doesnt love a good balancing act
  
• Be the master of payments handling accounts payable like a pro and making sure everythings paid on time.
  
• Show off your payroll skills by ensuring everyone gets their rightful share of treasure including superannuation and payroll taxes.
  
• Collaborate with the finance manager to execute group cross charges its like teamwork but with a touch of wizardry.
  
• Cast your spell on foreign currency payments to ensure theyre processed accurately and in compliance with all the rules.
  
• Prepare and process monthend reports like a true financial sorcerer.
  
• Work your magic on accruals prepayments and journals including those tricky inventory adjustments.
  
• Keep those intercompany transactions in check its all about balance after all.
  
• Make reconciliations look like childs play including those pesky general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
  
• Prepare GST and BAS returns for the Manager to review before theyre sent off into the magical realm of lodgments.
  
• Ensure that all standards and legislative requirements are met within your enchanted portfolio.
  
• Maintain the Fixed Asset register and depreciation schedule using the power of straightline depreciation.
  
• Assist in conjuring up budgeting and forecasting reports because who says finance cant be magical
  
• Keep the cash flow actuals up to date and help with forecasting its like predicting the future but with numbers.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor or Accounting or Business with an Accounting focus
  
• Experience in MYOB and Xero
  
• Experience in Lightyear Cloud preferred However experience in Dext or receipt bank is transferable
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standard including GST
  
• Able to show initiative and be a selfstarter.
  
• Strong computer software skills including Excel & Accounting software.
  
• API integration exposure is advantageous.
