Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets
• Identify trends patterns and insights in data
• Develop and implement databases data collection systems data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports printouts and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Perform statistical analysis and build predictive models
• Create visualizations and reports for stakeholders
• Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Maintain and update existing reports and dashboards
• Develop and implement data analyses data collection systems and other strategies
• Consult with business partners to establish business requirements
• Provide input into the design and development of the databases and data systems
• Proactively analyze and interpret data with a view to informing business decisions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Mathematics Economics Computer Science Information Management or Statistics
• Proven work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
• Technical expertise regarding data models database design development data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc) databases (SQL etc)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel SPSS SAS etc)
• Proficient in programming (e.g. R Python or Java)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries report writing and presenting findings
• Proven ability to work as part of a team and to take the initiative to follow possible data processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
• A passion for data analysis and strategic decisionmaking
• Strong problemsolving skills and business acumen
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
