Plant EHS Manager

This opportunity is with a highpurity specialty chemical manufacturer located near Dallas TX. This is an onsite role at a 50person 24/7 operational plant that has had zero recordables in over 2 years and is determined to continue its safety initiatives. Its a tight knit team that is aiming on improving the plant and by bringing in new team members with a similar mindset/goals. Youll be responsible for improving safety processes & programs training employees enhancing confined spaces/entries ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and assisting production teams with projects. Youll be supervising 1 plant employee (Safety Coordinator) that helps with following compliance while gaining assistance from Plant Manager corporate and other EHS leaders within the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemistry Safety or Engineering will consider closely related
• 8 years experience in an environmental safety & health role in a manufacturing setting with some supervision exposure
• Experience with PSM and RC:140001 required
• Management of hazardous wastes wastewater treatment air permits preferred
